  1. Introduction

The World Mobile Network

The World Mobile network is a community-operated, decentralised wireless network. We use a blockchain-based sharing economy to deliver affordable connectivity to everyone, including in places often left behind by legacy operators.

The AirNode layer of the World Mobile network is made up of Hosts, Operators, and Host-Operators.

Hosts offer their locations for the setup and management of AirNodes. Operators monitor AirNode usage while earning revenue based on the amount of data, texts, and calls processed through their AirNodes. Host-operators combine the two roles and offer their location as well as agree to manage AirNode usage.

World Mobile also assists you in setting up your AirNodes and provides continued support to help you manage them.
