What are Link and Apex AirNodes?

Link AirNodes are wireless receivers that provide endpoint connectivity at customer premises. Apex 90 and Apex 180 AirNodes are the broadcast powerhouses of World Mobile’s next-gen fixed wireless network. They provide high-bandwidth wireless coverage up to 30 km line of sight, supporting connectivity for up to 250 Link AirNodes, ensuring robust connectivity and backhaul support to nearby cellular sites.

Where are Link and Apex AirNodes located and installed?

Link AirNodes are located on customer premises, such as homes or businesses. Apex AirNodes are typically installed at the topographic apex of a geographical region, which is typically a tall building or point of high elevation e.g. a mountain top.

What is the lifespan of Link and Apex AirNodes?

The minimum lifespan for both Link and Apex AirNodes is 14 years.

How do Link and Apex AirNodes work together to deliver the next-gen fixed wireless network?

Apex AirNodes form the backbone of World Mobile’s next-generation fixed wireless network. They broadcast high-bandwidth wireless coverage with an impressive range of up to 30 km line of sight. Each Apex can connect up to 250 Link AirNodes in a 90-degree configuration, with the Link AirNodes acting as wireless receivers, converting the Apex signals into endpoint connectivity for subscribers.

Batch Two, Drop One includes 5 Apex AirNodes and 161 Link AirNodes.

How does the purchase process for Batch Two, Drop One differ from Batch One?

For Batch Two, Drop One, you no longer need to engage with a host directly to make a purchase. You can select AirNodes through the Explorer and proceed directly to checkout.

How many AirNodes are available across the rest of Batch Two?

Batch Two consists of over 700 AirNodes to be released across multiple drops.

Which AirNodes will be available for sale across Batch Two?

Batch Two, Drop One will only include Apex 90 and Link AirNodes, but future drops will include additional AirNodes from across the range.

How do Link and Apex AirNodes work with Portals and Titans?

Link and Apex nodes work together to deliver World Mobile’s fixed wireless internet network, while Portals and Titans work together to deliver cellular connectivity. Apex nodes can be used as backhaul for Portal AirNodes.
